Make an appointment

The study advisors of Faculty CEG have a daily walk-in hour from 12:30 – 13:30 hrs. If you expect that your question can’t be answered within 10 minutes, you can make a 30 minute appointment via the button below. Select date and time and book an appointment, you can see the availability of the study advisors for the upcoming three weeks. For questions which can be answered via e-mail, please contact studyadvisors-ceg@remove-this.tudelft.nl.


What do we do?

We give advice and counselling on:

  • Choosing an academic program (subjects)
  • Academic planning
  • Students grants and loans
  • Study delay
  • Special circumstances beyond the student’s control
  • Requests to the Board of Examiners
  • Contact with lecturers and (thesis) supervisors
  • Contact with Central Student Administration and other departments of the faculty or university

We must be consulted at:

  • Requests for financial support for study delay due to special circumstances, such as:
    • Illlness, psychological problems, relationship problems or family issues
    • Practicing top level sport
    • Doing a board year at a student association
    • Please report special circumstances immediately!

We provide individual coaching and counselling with problems concerning:

  • Motivation
  • Discipline
  • Planning and activities
  • Choosing an academic program
  • Graduation
  • Adjusting to student life
  • Adjusting to the Dutch language and other circumstances living abroad

We can refer to:

  • Central student counsellor for legal and finance affairs, career planning and study with a disability
  • Student psychologists for tests concerning choosing an academic programme, ability tests, dyslexia tests, performance anxiety, stress counselling, depression, family or relationship problems, training in social skills, assertiveness and constructive thinking
  • Chaplaincy for philosophical problems and bereavement

We organise and coordinate:

  • The mentor teams, for a smooth transition from school to university and student life
  • A calling system, which follows students actively in the 1st, 2nd and 3th year and if necessary, the student is called for an interview
