General hospital/ accidents and emergencies

Except in the event of an accident or emergency, you need a letter of referral from your general practitioner in order to consult a medical specialist at a hospital. The main hospital in Delft is the Reinier de Graaf hospital. If you visit the hospital, remember to take your insurance card and passport with you. In the event of a life-threatening emergency, call 112.

Student Health Care

Student Health Care is the place to go with your health-related questions and problems. The Delft Student Practice GPs’ surgery is part of Student Health Care. It offers general practitioner services. If you do not currently have a general practitioner in Delft, it is recommended that you register at the student practice. The surgery hours of the general practitioners in the student practice are by appointment only, but there is also a daily drop-in consults on campus (11:00-11:45).
