Asset and Maintenance Management Consultant

The company

Do not let this small company from Noord-Brabant fool you; their clientele is nothing short of impressive. At high profile companies like Siemens, Alliander, Toyota and NedTrain, engineers work around the globe to secure optimum functionality in their client’s business, maintenance and performance processes.

Big tendering processes tend to take up a lot of time. This company culled away the dead weight and has, over time, managed to speed things up significantly. With a core focus on transport, construction and utilities, they charged head-first into dealing with the ever-changing demands of governments and end users.

They are a one stop shop, offering their clients guidance throughout the entire process of forming and implementing new business strategies. Whether it is about increasing productivity, or decreasing maintenance costs, all comes down to the correct monitoring and maintenance of available resources. This has the added benefit of increasing asset lifecycles, reliability, safety and productivity.

The job

The main challenge is to consult clients on topics within the Asset Management discipline such as maintenance processes, mobile devices for operations, capacity optimization, infrastructure, HSE and Data Governance.

Your job is to make sure you have all the necessary information, from every part of the company. This means that you not only consult with CEOs and stakeholders, who oversee planning and budget, but with the mechanics who know the inner workings of the assets as well. Together, you work towards transforming the organisation’s structure, adapting it to fit your information management system.

The client is kept up to date with tangible proofs of concept throughout the implementation, showing that the changes work on a small scale. Of course, you can count on specialised assistance from business partners all the way.

As young consultants are not left entirely to their own devices, you receive support from a more experienced colleague on a regular basis. All the while, it is important to display a pro-active approach and seize the opportunity to improve and learn.

You go the extra mile; literally! As many clients are international companies, your job requires you to work on location as well.

As this company is currently working for a big, Dutch client, speaking Dutch is a prerequisite.
