Requirements

You can go abroad for an exchange semester in your BSc (minor) or in your MSc (depending on the track in MSc 2 or 3). Here you can read which requirements you should meet.
First and foremost, it is important that you have good academic results and that you are on track with your studies. Things will be different in a foreign country and this requires a proactive, flexible and creative attitude. As an exchange student you are an ambassador for your home university and are expected to represent TU Delft and the Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment in the best possible way.

Before you leave, you must have a sufficient command of the language in which the courses are taught. Check the Languages page for more information on language requirements.

Specific requirements:

Minor – Bachelor 5

  1. At the moment of application
You follow Bachelor 3 courses and you are on track with your studies. This is necessary to be able to meet requirement nr. 2.

You must have fully completed the first year of the Bachelor’s degree programme and you must have passed at least 45 ECTS of the second year.

A practical requirement is that students who want to study abroad must be enrolled as a full-time student for the entire exchange period.
Meeting the minimum requirements does not mean that students are automatically selected. The final selection will be made by the Faculty’s selection committee. This committee will assess all factors in each file as submitted to them.
