The job

As Junior System Architect you will start in one of our multidisciplinary project teams consisting of experts with different technical backgrounds e.g. physics, chemical, mechanical, electrical and software engineering. Depending on your experience you may start as a multi-disciplinary designer.

  • You will translate customer needs into new technologies, product concepts and designs, ensuring successful delivery of value-adding products for our customers;
  • You develop and realize product designs and architectures that fit our business strategy as a global leader in digital printing and imaging;
  • You are responsible for successful development of designs and solutions meeting business strategy and stakeholder requirements for your area of expertise at the same time;

As our ideal Junior System Architect you have:

  • A MSc or PhD in the field of mechanical engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Material Sciences, Polymers & Composites or comparable expertise);
  • Between 0-3 years of work experience, either by means of internship, graduation assignment, extracurricular activities or relevant work experience;
  • Excellent written and spoken English. Profound knowledge of Dutch is recommended.

To be successful in this role you are a team player with the ability to motivate peers to think out-of-the-box and realize ambitious change. You communicate well with customers, managers and colleagues at all levels in the organization. Besides that you have outstanding analytical skills, with excellent organizational skills and a strong result-driven mindset. For this job it is necessary that you have the permission to work in the Netherlands.
