Global E3

What is Global E3?

Global E3 (Global Engineering Education Exchange) is a consortium approximately 70 schools of engineering, 35 of which are in the United States. This consortium provides exchange opportunities for Bachelor (and some Master) engineering students to study abroad for a semester or year at one of these 70 institutions.

Why study abroad through Global E3?

·         take engineering courses in an exciting international setting
·         study abroad on a tuition swap basis – continue to pay only TU Delft tuition fees
·         receive academic credit at TU Delft for academic course work completed abroad
·         improve foreign language ability and intercultural skills
·         have an unforgettable experiences for a fall semester, spring semester, or full academic year

Where can TU Delft students study abroad with Global E3?

Students can choose from approximately 70 renown institutes worldwide, including 35 in the United States of America. A searchable database of options can be found here.

What are the requirements?

TU Delft students interested in taking engineering courses abroad and meeting the following criteria may apply to be nominated by their faculty for Global E3:

·         completed propaedeutic year in one year (P-in-1) (for BSc applicants)
·         passed all courses taken until now and do not have a study delay
·         7,5 or higher grade point average
·         proven English skills (IELTS or TOEFL language test)
